According to Denver assessor records, 1210 Clarkson Street was built in 1962. In 1961, realtor Mier Chazen purchased the property. That same year, he sold the property to Key West Development, which held on to the property until 1967. While no building permit could be located, it is likely that Key West constructed the apartment building. The building was known as the Keywest Apartments until at least 1980.
